Cornealius Properties Birdsong Chapel | Wedding Day | Morgan & Logan | October 3, 2026
Over a DECADE of dating, big milestones, and even becoming parents to precious Vivian – Morgan and Logan had their wedding day!!! It was at the Birdsong Chapel & it was so beautiful – even despite the rainy day! Morgan was the most chill bride about the forecast & we made the absolute MOST of the day we had! (Thank you to everyone who prayed the rain away so we could at least take outdoor photos before the ceremony!!)
We started off the day with all the ladies at the Honeymoon House, and everyone was having fun getting glammed! We photographed all of Morgan’s pretty details & I had so much fun styling them!!
Morgan had a sweet First Look with her dad & brother, and her family surprised her with a patch from her mom Anna’s wedding dress with a hand-stitched letter on it – sewn into her dress! She had no idea it was even there! Such a sweet moment.
Thankfully, Logan and Morgan had planned for a First Look, so we were able to photograph ALL their important photos before the ceremony! This was CLUTCH, because it started raining an hour before the ceremony, and the rain NEVER STOPPED! I was so grateful we were able to pull off outdoor photos!!! In fact, in Wilson where we’re all from, it had been raining since about 10:30am, so we had FIVE HOURS of dry outdoor photos before the rain for us in Goldsboro!!! So thankful!!!!
The ceremony was stunning in the iconic Birdsong Chapel. It was dripping in florals and was soooo romantic with the rain pattering on the roof, but everyone was dry and cozy inside! Afterwards, Morgan & Logan got to join cocktail hour with their guests & then kick off the party!
The reception was rolling from the start, thanks to the band Bounce! and delicious food from Scarborough Fare Catering. (Still dreaming over the sweet potato fries!) They had the best crowd on the dance floor all night, party favors, and desserts! Morgan changed into a fun party dress and it was perfect vibes for the evening! We had the best time catching up with our current & former couples, and our former couples’ families who were in attendance too!! Before we knew it – the day was coming to an end & they exited to a tunnel of streamers (and little gift boxes of personal pizzas were given to the guests! How cool!)
It was such a beautiful day & an honor to capture this special day – from these Johnsons to the newest Johnsons!!!! We can’t wait for you to see a little peek into their day below. Enjoy!! :)
