& PHILLIP 

Right out of college, Tiffany got asked to photograph a few weddings, using her (college photo class) $350 camera kit. When we got married, Tiffany quit her full-time job to try & hustle with any graphic design / painting / photography jobs she could to make money - still using that entry-level camera gear.

Phillip always encouraged & believed in me, but as newlyweds (on just one teacher's salary) we simply couldn't afford to upgrade my camera gear to professional grade.

Here's the part where I still cry 13 years later. One of Phillip's most PRIZED possessions was a (very expensive) piano he bought to record music (before we met) with his very first "real job" paycheck out of college. He was so proud of that piano & what it represented to him.

Phillip decided to secretly SELL his piano, and used all of that money to buy my first full-frame (professional) camera. On our FIRST married Christmas, with TEARS in his eyes, Phillip watched me open that camera (bought with his piano money) and encouraged me to pursue every dream.

I'm so thankful for my husband's sweet sacrifice, because now we have the most wonderful business & memories from 230+ incredible couples we've worked for. It hasn't been easy, it's lots of hard work - but I'm proud of the business we've built, and that Phillip has been by my side believing in me from the very start.

When I was searching for wedding photographers, Tiffany’s photography style immediately stood out to me, and I knew right away that I wanted her to capture our wedding day. Tiffany is the very detailed & organized trip planner, and Phillip is there for vibes & directions, haha! Between the two of us, we've gone to 17 countries! (Belgium, Curacao, Denmark, Dominican Republic, England, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy (2x’s), Jamaica, Mexico, Portugal, Punta Cana, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland!) But our favorite city is actually Charleston, SC! We go there 1-3x’s a year, and it’s our happy place!

haha kidding! Phillip is young at heart, but with 70-year-old hobbies! If he's not golfing, working in the yard, or cuddling our Golden Retriever (Cooper), you can find Phillip working his full-time job: Fellowship of Christian Athletes - supporting our Barton College FCA students! Attending all their games, cooking them dinner, building relationships with them! Phillip loves sports - so he's down for tennis, pickleball, and talking all things football, baseball, golf, and basketball!

Through the

Tiffany's dad texts her every wedding day morning, "Go make a difference in other people's lives!" And this is exactly what motivates us! Behind the glamour of a beautiful wedding day - we are ultimately there to serve our couples. Not just by taking pretty photos - but we're there to pray for our couples & their marriages, encourage our brides as they are crying over the weather, we're there to help pivot with a Plan B, C, D and make a day go as smoothly as possible, and we're there to hype you up and make sure you have the most special, happy day of your lives! We want to make a difference in our couples lives & capture their happiest moments while doing it!

It's funny to say, but wedding photography found ME. It's the perfect mix of my graphic design/photography degrees + my years serving as a waitress in college + volunteering with FCA, when I'm building relationships with people. It all combines together as an eye for photography, with a heart of serving others & making a difference in other people's lives.

I approach wedding photography a little differently - I'm not at your wedding just as an "artist" hired for the day. I aim to not only take beautiful photos, but also serve you & your families to the utmost of my abilities. I'm at your wedding to be someone you can trust, someone who will do everything in my power to have all your wedding visions come true - PLUS deliver stunning photos to look back on with a smile. :)

I hand-edit every single photo myself - not sending off to a random editor or using AI to edit for me, because I want to go the extra mile to have my personal touch on each photo & each one to be frame-worthy.

I don't want to be a "fly on the wall" for a day - I want to be remembered as being an incredible part of your wedding experience & someone who cheers on your life milestones & exchanges christmas cards with you a decade later. :)

More than anything, Phillip loves people! He'll extrovert his heart out with your Groom & Groomsmen to not only talk allllll things sports, but he'll also make taking photographs on your wedding day FAST, easy, and FUN! (Because what guy honestly loves getting photos taken?) 

Phillip is our built-in weather guy to watch the forecasts for you, he's quick to think on his feet for a great Plan B, C, or D, and is willing to get wedding dress glitter all over his Bronco if transportation fails to arrive & he needs to take you to the next location himself (yes, speaking from experience, haha!)

Phillip LOVES DOGS. So if you bring your pup along to your session or wedding day, he's more than happy to make a new best friend! :)

Working hard, or hardly working? Cooper is our 3-year-old Golden Retriever, full of energy, cuddles, and he loves pillows more than anyone.

We named him after the Cooper River in Charleston (our happy place), and his birthday just happens to be the SAME day as Phillip's - October 11th! They are two peas in a pod - truly Golden Retriever Energy!!! 

Fun fact - one of our TLJ couples adopted Cooper's brother (Huxley), and another of our TLJ Couples adopted his 1/2 sister, (Amelia!) So fun!!

Canon is 100% black cat energy. Acts like we don't exist... until he wants a treat or to drink water from the FAUCET. (A bowl or his cat water fountain isn't good enough, apparently). He's as introverted as Cooper is extroverted. We named Canon after our favorite photography gear - and he's been our project manager for almost 10 years. This is a photo of Canon asking for a 10-year bonus.
