Kristin + Jordan = WEDDING DAY!

Kristin and Jordan are finally marrrrieeedddd!!! These two have been working SO hard planning and implementing every single aspect of their whole wedding day, and we were excited to see their vision come to life!

Kristin and the bridesmaids started the day with hair & make up (the dream team of Melody Raper and Caroline Sharp styled Kristin’s hair/makeup!) and then relaxed eating ChickFila! (That’s my kind of wedding day food!!!) When it was time for Kristin to get into her dress, the girls and her mom Ann helped her do all the finishing touches.

Jordan and the groomsmen were a bunch of goofballs, so Phillip fit right in! They were wearing custom feather boutonnières – and Kristin actually MADE the two groomsmen ones! For a hot July day, wearing vests and pants were a perfect choice, so they didn’t sweat to death in coats!!!

Kristin and Jordan have always been so kind to us! We’ve felt like old friends, and really looked forward to their wedding day. Before the ceremony, they gave us a bag of goodies: a sweet note, a black and white POPCORN BOWL, a few tins of custom popcorn salt flavors, and even a cat toy/treats for our kitten, Canon!!! Once again, we felt so loved and appreciated!!!

The ceremony space has their touches all over. Jordan made the arbor himself, and it was perfect to fill the stage space!! Their unity cross was really meaningful – because it was made with wood pieces found in Kristin’s grandparents home. (The wedding coordinator’s daughter designed the crosses!) What a special piece for them to keep in their home!!!

As Kristin walked down the aisle, it was all Jordan could do to keep from crying. So sweet!!! They had a beautiful ceremony with scripture and the unity cross, and were pronounced husband and wife!!!!

After the ceremony, the bridal party members were GREAT sports – and everyone hopped in Phillip’s truck to head to a field for photos!!!! The 3:00pm sun was beating down on them, and there were gnats and grasshoppers jumping on everyone, but no one complained, and they even waited patiently while we finished Bride and Groom photos!!!

Speaking of bride and groom photos…..these are some of our new favorites!!! Kristin and Jordan TRUSTED US by allowing us to take them to a random weedy field….and they LAUGHED the whole portrait time, and were so playful. THAT’S OUR FAVORITE!!!!! We loved their banter, their love for each other, and how much they adore each other!!!

Kristin & Jordan treated their guests to outdoor yard games, City BBQ for dinner, and Magnolia Grove Weddings cupcakes galore! (EVERY single birthday, Tiffany always gets a vanilla cake with sprinkles – so it was pretty amazing they chose such a fun flavor for their wedding cake!!!!)

Kristin hand made EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of their reception. From the centerpieces, to the placemats, photo wall, signage, cake table, memory table (and of course the Invitations, RSVPs, and programs!!!) – every single bit she designed, drew, watercolored, and assembled. She’s SO TALENTED, and Jordan was a huge help with all the woodworking and implementing too.

Jordan and Kristin allowed us to sit and eat – and we enjoyed catching up with TWO of our former couples, and old college friends who were guests at the wedding!!!

Their bridal party snuck outside to decorate Jordan’s truck and fill it with balloons – so when Kristin and Jordan finally exited through a tunnel of bubbles they weren’t even able to get INTO the truck!!!! It was fun.
