Ashley & Josh = Maternity Session

We were watching the weather for a WEEK, and made the decision the night before that a measly 15% chance of rain wouldn’t scare us off from photographing our session as planned! Then….wouldn’t you know that 15% chance of rain crept up all the way to a 95% CHANCE, and since Ashley’s hair and makeup were already done, we made a decision to move up the session by 1 hour, and try to beat it!!!

We say it over and over…but our couples are truly the best. Ashley and Josh totally trusted us with the weather, and after lots of prayers, the downpour STOPPED right as we began our session – and didn’t begin pouring buckets again until the moment we were pulling out of the driveway for home.

Josh and Ashley looked absolutely beautiful together, and their outfits were really stylish. Through sprinkling rain, they posed like PROS, and Ashley looked smokin’ hot when she did “serious” profile shots. WOW!!! (Josh was SO sweet complimenting how gorgeous Ashley looked too, it was really adorable!)

Phillip and I photographed as quickly as we could, since we had NO idea when the downpour would start again. Thankfully, Rose Hill is an amazing venue and we could choose literally ANY spot for a background without walking too far wasting time.

(Side note: Ashley had her Bridal Portraits photographed at Rose Hill, so it was really special to come full circle, and her photograph her Maternity Session back there.)

We just KNOW that little Easton will be a handsome, and very loved little boy. We’re so thrilled for Ashley and Josh as they become parents, and begin such a special stage in their lives.
