Haley & TJ = Union Valley Farm & Vineyard Wedding!

There aren’t many people we’d give our 10-year wedding anniversary weekend up to photograph – but Haley captured our hearts 2 years ago as the MOH for Emily & Chase’s wedding (see it here!) and we immediately were honored to say YES! Haley & TJ then gave me a bucket list session down in our favorite city, Charleston, with the Pink Figgy that I’ve always wanted to shoot!!!! Their session was soooo dreamy, click HERE to see it! We got up before the sun & headed down to Whiteville, NC for Haley & TJ’s big day! We had been watching weather all week, and it had said an 80% chance of rain. It rained on our drive to Whiteville, but somehow (after lots of prayer, even my family praying over the day!) we only got heavy winds and a few times of light rain! We were able to wait out those rainy times and STILL get outdoor photos! (Thanks to Chase for being my weatherman!)

I love that the bridal party could stay on site the whole weekend, so the girls were up early getting glam & eating Bojangles (also thanks to Chase picking it up!) We started our day off photographing Haley’s carefully curated details – she had been collecting items for her details for probably a YEAR! She put so much thought into each piece – like the wooden hexagon dish as a nod to their wooden ceremony arbor that Haley’s dad built!

Haley had Barefoot Brew Coffee Wagon on site for everyone to get coffees & smoothies all morning, and I thought it was the coolest idea ever! They had so many cool drinks to choose from and enjoy as they got ready! If Phillip and I got married all over again, I would have loved doing this!!! 🙂

After getting ready, Haley had a sweet First Look with her bridesmaids, her dad, and then a First Look with TJ! We took some absolutely gorgeous Bride & Groom portraits, and the wind made her veil blow perfectly!! TJ was absolutely killing it – and I just LOVED his feather bowtie.

Haley surprised TJ for the ceremony, with a skirt overlay on top of her form-fitting white dress!! I love how different each look was. The ceremony was beautiful under the wooden hexagon – the floral statement pieces on either side were so unique because they added feathers to it too! LOVED! After the ceremony, we took some more bride & groom portraits with Haley’s overlay on, and it was just stunning.

The reception kicked off with a huge surprise!!! Country singer Kelsey Hart SURPRISED everyone with coming from Nashville to sing Haley & TJ’s First Dance song!!! What a huge honor & epic surprise for all their guests! 🙂

Haley & TJ spoiled their guests with delicious food, cake, a “sweet treat” table, lots of dancing, a live artist to watch paint (Hannah Faith Creations did a beautiful job!) drinks, and such a fun night! Haley & TJ came out after dinner with an outfit change! TJ was wearing a white dinner jacket, and Haley wore her form-fitting dress with pearl-studded sheer gloves. LOVEEEEEE. The evening ended with a private last dance for TJ & Haley, a painting reveal, and lastly a sparkler exit!!
