During sessions, it’s always my job to serve our couples well and make them feel comfortable & special! BUT… when Olivia arrived at Rose Hill the first thing she did was hand US a box of baked goods (cookie, scone, and muffin YUM!) and the sweetest handwritten note. She thanked US in advance for photographing her Bridal Session! How precious is that?! We felt special and loved immediately.  🙂

Ya’ll know that my FAVORITE type of wedding + style to photograph is very traditional & classic. BUT I love when our couples also add something to their wedding day that’s “different” to make it unique from all the others. When I saw Olivia in her Lela Rose gown with a custom Vera Wang Bolero with a matching butterfly veil – my jaw literally DROPPED! It was soooooo unique than anything we’d ever photographed and I was in heaven!!!!

Olivia’s delicate Bolero had such whimsical appliqués that were feminine and soft. Her gown underneath was such a classic and she looked STUNNING! Olivia’s bouquet looked straight out of a magazine with so many textures, soft colors – and the style matched her overlay perfectly.

We had a beautifully sunny day for Olivia’s session, but it was HOT and HUMID!!!! It was so hot that we kept taking indoor AC breaks, and Phillip was fanning us with a big reflector most of the session. Olivia did an amazing job wearing all those layers and posing in the heat! 🙂

I was on CLOUD 9 during Olivia’s entire Bridal Session. Olivia’s sweet mom Marla was there to help me with all the fluffing and fixing – it’s always fun to meet our brides moms for the first time!
