Kayla = Leslie Alford Mims House Bridal Session!

Kayla & Wyatt’s Engagement Session last year was one of the most magical, beautiful sessions we’ve EVER photographed, so I was REALLY PUMPED for Kayla’s Bridal Session! She dreamed of an elegant white house as the location for her session, and the Mims House was the perfect option. Since Kayla’s wedding colors are soft pinks & touches of green – the furniture at the Mims House was the perfect accent for her session!

Kayla came down the stairs looking STUNNING! Her gorgeous blonde hair was swept into an updo (by Jade Marion Hair) with the prettiest makeup by Michelle Clark (those EYES yall!!!) Kayla’s dress was elegant – with lace AND touches of delicate beading. Thankfully, Kayla is tall enough that she didn’t need ANY altering on the length of her dress! It was perfect on her. The train was really full, and thankfully Kayla’s mom Tammy was down to help me fix it throughout the session and get it perfect! The sides of Kayla’s dress were peek-a-boo, and I loved the tiny buttons in the back!

Her session was one that made me SO thankful Phillip joins me at sessions. He helped me move tons of furniture/flowers, sweep the rooms and the porches, set up my gear, hang a curtain to help with a sun glare, and even carried 10+ amazon boxes indoors (that were marked “HEAVY”!!!!) delivered during the session onto the front porch… and we didn’t want them in the background of our photos. He’s the best!!!! Thank you Phillip!!!

Kayla did an amazing job modeling for me, and the indoor photos with the pink couch are some of my FAVORITES EVER!!!! She was a great sport about the TWENTY mph winds outside, and rocked it like a pro. Kayla made my job a breeze, and we had a blast talking about our mutual love of iced coffees (yes even in the winter), bojangles, and FUNFETTI CAKE!!!! Twins!!!!
