Kate & Pat = NC Beach Engagement Session!

Kate & Pat booked us six months ago, BEFORE they were even engaged! So, to say that we’d been looking forward to their Engagement Session and to finally meet in person (our first meeting was over zoom!) was an understatement!

We went down to the beach early, and watched the weather forecast for our Engagement Session get worse and worse by the hour. Kate and I were texting back and forth weighing the risks of moving forward with their Engagement Session with a 70% chance of thunderstorms – and finally decided it was too risky. She cancelled her makeup appointment and we planned to reschedule to the next morning at SUNRISE!!!!!

Everything worked out though – instead of having our sunset session, Kate & Pat rushed downtown to watch their friends win $828,000 for boating a 521 pound Blue Marlin during the Big Rock Tournament, and we got invited to dinner by one of our FIRST TLJ Couples and ate fried shrimp and watched Big Rock boats!

The next morning, 4:20am came REALLY FAST, but it was SO WORTH IT. We had beautiful sunlight, not too hot or humid, calm winds, and no crowds to worry about. Kate and Pat looked AMAZING for running on a handful of hours of sleep – and Kate had the PRETTIEST mermaid hair ever!!!!! I was OBSESSED!!!!!

Their outfits were SO GOOD, Kate had put a ton of time into planning the perfect outfits for their locations, and it showed!!!! I’ve already received over 30 messages on Instagram from people LOVING their outfits, her hair, and how HAPPY and cute they are together!!!!

We had the BEST MORNING with Pat and Kate. The way they are so fun-loving, HAPPY together (at 6am no less!), and just playful and always laughing – made my job a BREEZE!!!!! I left their Engagement Session feeling soooooo fulfilled and honored to have captured their love!!!

Not only were they amazing to photograph, but Kate sent me the SWEETEST text just hours after their session, and truly made ME feel special! How amazing is that?!?

I can’t wait for ya’ll to see one of the HAPPIEST couples ever. I have a TON of favorites already, so I hope ya’ll will LOVE them as much as I already do. ENJOY!!!!!
