Rose Hill Plantation | Bridal Portrait Session | Danielle | June 21, 2017
Danielle just got married at The Farm on 95, which is a rustic, barn wood type setting. When she asked me about booking Rose Hill Plantation (which is the opposite style – a big, white, elegant southern style manor) for her Bridal Portraits, I was beyond surprised…. but THRILLED!
Photographing at Rose Hill never gets old. My heart is drawn to old, historic homes with character and a story, so I was excited to switch things up for Danielle. Phillip was out of town for the session, so my sweet Mom got to join as my assistant for the night!
Even though it was an overcast day, we were blessed with a “less hot” June day. It’s a good thing too, because when Danielle stepped out in her wedding dress, it was an absolute Cinderella BALLGOWN with tons of layers and volume, and she looked like a princess!!!
Danielle’s dress was really unique in that it had a layer of BLUSH satin under all the lace, and it peeked through to give beautiful tones. Danielle got a custom veil to match the lace of her dress, and she wore a pearl necklace as a bracelet that was her husband’s grandmother’s!! How special is that?! Keeping with her rustic/farm theme, she was wearing cowgirl boots under her feminine dress 🙂
We were so thankful for the help of Danielle’s best friend Summer, who literally carried Danielle’s train EVERYWHERE, and Danielle’s mom who helped with the bouquet. It takes a crew to make beautiful portraits, and boy did we take pretty photographs!!!
Since Danielle is now a married woman, enjoy a few of my favorite images from our session together!!!
