Crysta & Trevor = The Sutherland Wedding Day!

Ya’ll… our 150^th wedding couldn’t have been any more perfect than to be Crysta & Trevor’s AMAZING wedding day!!!! Their entire engagement experience has been so memorable for us and we couldn’t WAIT for their big day. 🙂

Trevor & Crysta’s Engagement Session goes down in TLJ history as one of the HOTTEST sessions, but with gorgeous light and beautiful backdrops. (If you missed seeing that blog last year, click HERE!) Then, Crysta’s Bridal Session at The Sutherland turned out to be one of my FAVORITES EVER!!! Not only because she’s stunning and the backdrop of the Sutherland was perfectly elegant & classic… but also because we were having the BEST TIME during the session – vibing, coming up with ideas together, and her mom & sister Alys made it SO FUN for me!!!! So needless to say – Phillip and I were PUMPED for their wedding, just KNOWING it would be amazing!!!! 🙂

We arrived at The Sutherland extra early to walk around, scout locations, and chat with all the bridesmaids! Crysta’s crew were so sweet and fun – and the most impressive thing was her MOH (and sister) Alys not only did her own makeup, the bridesmaids makeup, but also Crysta’s makeup! Pretty impressive!!!!

I absolutely LOVED their getting ready process – because Crysta is one of 3 sisters and it reminded me so much of my own family (I’m 1 of 3 sisters too). It was really sweet seeing all the girls help her get ready! Phillip had a great time with the guys – they threw Frisbee, relaxed, and then got ready in the neat “Settler’s House”.

Their ceremony was officiated by Crysta’s uncle – and it was a beautiful ceremony under the trees. After the ceremony, we took a whirlwind of absolutely MAGICAL portraits… and it was SO EASY because they are such pros at modeling for me. They’d BOTH instinctually make a pose adjustment just as I was about to tell them to – as if they’d read my mind – and it made my job a DREAM!!!! Even Trevor had some pose ideas of his own and I was HERE FOR IT!!!! Most of the serious poses came from his ideas… and they were SO SO GOOD!!!!!!

We had the BEST TIME at the reception. We had a total of FOUR TLJ Couples at their wedding (Samantha/Jeremy, Chelsea/Aaron, and Maggie/Travis) which felt like a mini reunion and was SO FUN!!!! We even hopped in the photobooth together for a big group photo! Impultz Entertainment not only provided a fun night of dancing, but the photobooth all evening! Crysta & Trevor spoiled their guests with yummy food, drinks (Even a signature drink!) beautiful atmosphere, and DELCIOUS cake (I was EXTRA impressed with the biggest cake slices I’ve EVER seen at a wedding!)

At the end of the night, Crysta & Trevor went through a tunnel of sparklers, and surprised their guests with a spark machine (provided by Impultz Entertainment!) to end the night in an EPIC way!!! It was the perfect way to end a beautiful day.
