Claudia & Bo = HighRock Farm Wedding Day!

HighRock Farms Wedding Day  |  Claudia & Bo  |  November 12, 2022

Our LAST wedding of 2022 couldn’t have been any more FUN! The minute we saw Claudia that morning, she was literally bouncing around with excitement, a huge smile on her face, and was the happiest bride ever!!!! She was so excited to finally get married after almost 2 years of planning their wedding, going through FNP school & exams, AND getting a FNP job! So it was really time to celebrate BIG!!!! Even though it was THEIR special day, Claudia surprised us with cinnamon-pull apart pastries from the famed Strong Arm Bakery in hometown for us bring home. How sweet & thoughtful is she?! Wow!!!! 🙂

Side note – if you missed seeing Claudia’s Bridal Session at one of her most special places – (Meredith College) click HERE to see her sneak peek! Also, if you missed their stunning Engagement Session at Duke, click HERE to see that blog! 🙂

We were excited to be in Claudia’s hometown and work at a new venue, Highrock Farms! It was a beautiful 300-acre property with a massive white house built in the 1800’s, with a reception barn recently built using pre-civil war wood from the original barn! It was such an impressive venue!

Claudia and her sweet bridesmaids were enjoying getting glammed in the main house – with breakfast food, drinks, and lounging in their cute PJs. Claudia loves a more traditional style, so the main house was the perfect location for all her wedding day getting-ready photos! She was super organized and had so many beautiful detail items for us to style & photograph – and we had the best time doing that! The guys were getting ready in the guest house – and Phillip got to meet two cute donkeys on his walk over to the guys!

One of my favorite parts of the morning was watching Claudia read her letter from Bo. He wrote such a beautiful letter full of promises and thoughtful tributes to her dad and grandparents – it was so sweet. Bo had put so much love and effort into such a special letter, and it really showed! She teared up reading such a thoughtful letter.

Claudia chose to have a First Look with her bridesmaids, and then a First Look with Bo! He was so blown away when he saw how beautiful Claudia looked as a bride! We took their Bride & Groom portraits with the main house in the background, and it was stunning! What a classic backdrop for their portraits!!! After that, we photographed ALL their Bridal Party photos & lots of family photos! The wind was really whipping around, so everyone was really good sports about dealing with the wind! When it’s whipping, it can be frustrating – but no one complained!!! In fact, Claudia’s bridesmaids are so sweet that a few of them whispered to me, “You’re doing great!” It was so so kind!!!

The ceremony was at Claudia’s home church, and it was so special. Candelabras were lit in memory of her dad & grandparents, and Claudia’s mom walked her down the aisle. After the ceremony & some more family portraits – Claudia & Bo got to join their own cocktail hour back on the farm! It was so nice to see them enjoy their time with guests and not feel rushed!!

Bo and Claudia’s reception was absolutely incredible in the barn. Alex with A Noble Events did an amazing job helping with the design & implementing! The rustic barn looked MAGICAL with all the candles flickering, different blue and white patterned tablecloths complimenting the farm tables, incredible florals adorning the tables, different places settings were featured on different tables – but all perfectly cohesive. It was just incredible!!! I was blown away!

The reception kicked off with delicious food, drinks, cake, great toasts, a photobooth, and LOTS of dancing thanks to The Finns Band!! Claudia and Bo spoiled their guests with lighted glow sticks, tambourines, glow stick glasses AND even got BOJANGLES delivered as LATE NIGHT FOOD!!!!!! How fun is that?!?! Wow!!! Claudia had told me when we first met almost 2 years ago, that she’d be the bride in the middle of the dance floor dancing her heart out with a tamborine in hand. And sure enough, that’s EXACTLY what happened! It made me so happy to see her and Bo having such a fun time with all their family and friends!!!

At the end of the night, Claudia & Bo went through a tunnel of sparklers, hugged their moms, and left in their getaway car! It was the perfect way to end such a happy day.

I have so many favorites to share with ya’ll below! I hope you ENJOY!!!!
