Amelia Grove Bridal Session | Claire Taylor | February 22, 2023
Claire’s Bridal Session was our FIRST time at Amelia Grove, and as we left the property, Phillip said it was literally his FAVORITE venue property ever! Even though it was February, we had a warm 80º day – with spanish moss blowing in the breeze, flowers blooming, and the most beautiful sunshine for the ENTIRE session!!! When you see these portraits you’ll never guess that it was wintertime! 🙂
Claire is such a beautiful person, both inside and out! She is such a genuinely sweet girl, and so easy to be around. We all got to the venue super early, and enjoyed walking around the manor house together (obsessing over all the tall ceilings, chandeliers, and the grandeur of it!) and then Phillip and I explored the outdoor property together! The venue owners dog, Copper, followed us around the whole time and it was the cutest! Phillip was obsessed and I have so many photos of them together haha!
We walked back into the manor house, and Claire was standing in the foyer looking STUNNING!!!! She was wearing a gorgeous gown covered in intricate floral appliqués, with custom appliqués on her straps and back of the dress. Honestly those straps were one of my favorite parts – so unique and feminine! Claire’s hair was a pretty updo, and her glam looked so pretty (her eyelashes were so fluttery and beautiful!) – what a beauty she is!!! Claire carried a bouquet full of texture and it smelled so good too! 🙂
Even though it was a sunny & warm day, we also had 15 mph winds, so Claire was EXTRA sweet to be patient while I had to fix & re-fix her dress and hair a million times throughout the session. She was such a good sport! Her mom, Lucy, was just as sweet as Claire is – and was such a joy to have with us!!! Claire just embraced the wind and went along with all my ideas… and it just turned out MAGICAL! The locations we found with the pops of SUNLIGHT were just incredible! Claire is the EASIEST to pose, she’s literally a natural and I barely had to adjust posing at all. What a dream!!! 🙂
What a happy day this was! We had the best time with this precious bride & her mom at this gorgeous location.
On top of ALL of that… as we were leaving, Claire and her mom gifted me HER BOUQUET so I could enjoy it this week. I was absolutely blown away and sooooooo giddy to have that beautiful bouquet to look at while I edit this week. Wow wow wow! Thank you ladies again SO MUCH!!!!!

Claire looked so radiant and beautiful. These pictures captured her beauty so elegantly. All of them simply gorgeous. I remember Claire in elementary school, she rode the bus I drive for WPS. I love Claire,she was so sweet and a joy to be around, so energetic and full of life,always had a beautiful smile. I just happened to be browsing on Facebook and came across these pictures. I didn’t know she had gotten married. All of the pictures are my favorite. I like to say ,Congratulations to Claire and her husband.I hope you both all the best.
