Claire & Branson = Amelia Grove Wedding!

Perfect couple. Perfect day. Perfect families & bridal party…. ya’ll Claire & Branson’s wedding day was seriously PERFECTION. We couldn’t ask for a sweeter couple & more wonderful day for their wedding! (Okay okay, if I’m being EXTRA picky, I would have asked for less of those 22mph wind gusts, haha!) From the start, Branson and Claire have been so trusting & easy-going, and just so wonderful to work for. We started off the day with all the ladies hanging out & getting ready! They were having the best time jamming out to music, getting glam, and eating lots of snacks! I had the best time photographing all of Claire’s beautiful details while they were getting ready! Fun fact – those stunning pearl hangers for the bridesmaids dresses were handmade by CLAIRE! She glued on every single pearl on 7 hangers for her girls! Since she’s a nurse, she’d work on the hangers before night shifts. Amazing! Also, the silver bracelet on Claire’s bouquet was a gift her grandpa gave her grandma Nancy on their wedding day! They were married for 62 years, and her grandma wanted to offer Claire to borrow it as an example of a long-lasting marriage! So special!

Claire had several First Looks – with her girls, her dad (soooo sweet how he got choked up seeing his little girl!), her grandma Nancy, her brother, and then finally one with Branson!!! Her brother Dillon was SO sweet complimenting her and honestly he was just such a fun, bright light all day!

After Branson & Claire’s First Look, we went straight into Bride & Groom portraits! They are SO DANG EASY to photograph, and I just LOVE photographing them!!! They were such troopers in the 22mph wind gusts, and just embraced it. Claire was so easy-going to even take all her photos without her veil so the wind wouldn’t be catching it even more. We had the best time with them! 🙂

As we were finishing all our pre-ceremony portraits, there was some rain coming in! We thankfully finished outdoor photos RIGHT as the rain came, and then the rain cleared out when it was time for ceremony & we even had SUNSHINE the rest of the day! So many people were praying over the weather, and we totally saw God’s hand on the day! So thankful!!

The reception kicked off with some DELICIOUS food, a “cake buffet” with all homemade cakes by Branson’s grandmother Mary Lou, dancing, drinks, magical sunset photos with Branson & Claire, sweet toasts, and then a sparkler exit to end our night! It was such a happy day, and we were just SO honored to capture this incredible wedding for such a sweet couple.
