Bailey & Logan = Carolina Grove Wedding Day!

What a HAPPY day this was!!! A combination of a sweet couple, incredible families, a 75º November day, pretty sunlight, a beautiful design, yummy food, a new bright & airy venue, and a smooth timeline is always our ideal wedding day!! Bailey & Logan were high school sweethearts, who supported each other through college, long distance, and finding careers – and now finally could tie the knot!!! Fun fact – when Bailey graduated from Meredith College (we love our MC Angels!!!) she was hired by Fellowship of Christian Athletes – so she and Phillip are coworkers! Phillip actually got to meet Bailey before I did which is so cool! 🙂

Logan & Bailey had a beautiful November day, with warm weather, colorful leaves on the trees, and a mix of sunshine and clouds! Phillip and I were so excited to shoot at a new-to-us venue, Carolina Grove, and we arrived early to photograph all the pretty details. Bailey was so organized and had everything labeled for us and packed so perfectly! We had the best time styling & photographing all the little detail items (how cute are Logan’s custom cufflinks with their pup etched on them?) All the girls arrived to the venue in the comfiest sage green joggers and we took PJ pics together! Bailey, her precious mom & Memaw got ready together in the Bridal Suite – and Bailey was absolutely radiant! Once Bailey was dressed, she spontaneously decided to do a quick First Look with all her little nieces – and it was just the cutest! 🙂

We spent the early afternoon photographing all the bridal party photos & lots of family photos! Family is SUPER important to Logan & Bailey – so we spent a lot of time capturing all those sweet moments! In fact, Bailey’s brother officiated their wedding ceremony, and he did an amazing job! The ceremony was so personal and heartfelt, it was just really special and meaningful!

After the ceremony, Bailey & Logan gave us an extended cocktail hour so we’d have plenty of time for portraits! Yay! They did an incredible job during their Bride & Groom portraits – especially since we’d never photographed them before! We were so proud of Logan, because it was a lot of portraits all day, and lots of smiling – and he did such a good job! How could you not though – with Bailey smiling so radiantly at you?! They are just the cutest!!!!

During the cocktail hour, they had food, drinks, zimzoom Photo Booth, corn hole, a kids table full of activities, and they could even watch a live artist doing a beautiful watercolor painting! What a fun way to treat guests!!!

The reception kicked off with the bridal party being introduced one by one like basketball players in a pre-game announcement – it was hilarious! I loved that creative idea – especially since Logan was a basketball player & Bailey was a volleyball player!! After several special dances (including a kids dance, a Meredith College dance, and a Mother/Daughter dance!), they treated their guests to a yummy dinner of Short Ribs & Crab Cakes – then a table FULL of desserts made by Bailey’s sweet mom. The dessert table was truly incredible!!! Logan and his guys went outside to enjoy cigars, which was a fun moment! Then, guests could enjoy lots of dancing and glow sticks on the dance floor – and snag coffee & Krispy Kreme doughnuts as late-night food!!!

It was such a happy day – and our honor to capture this sweet couple’s wedding!!! Bailey & Logan, thank you for choosing us to capture your amazing day!!!
