Engagement Session on the Beach | Amanda + John | March 7th, 2019
I can’t even explain how GOOD this session was for my heart! Amanda and John are two of the KINDEST humans on the planet, and photographing their love did wonders for my soul. Honestly, there wasn’t a moment that Amanda wasn’t BEAMING at John or a time when they weren’t giggling together. It was so precious to see their love, and have the honor of capturing their Engagement Session!
John is the BROTHER of one of our FIRST TLJ Brides, Lauren Hong, and Amanda knows so many of our TLJ Brides – Ashlyn May, Kaylee Varney, and Samantha Joyner to name a few! So when she contacted us just 24 HOURS after getting engaged, and basically chose their wedding date around OUR availability, we were beyond floored and incredibly honored!
They are just the sweetest couple, and I MEAN THAT. Amanda is outgoing, so sweet, and extremely genuine in her kindness. John is so loving towards Amanda, steady, gentlemanly, and they both are supportive of each other! We couldn’t be happier that after 4+ years of dating, they will start their married life together in August!
Our Engagement Session day had beautiful glowy sunshine, not too much wind (for a beach session, haha) and wasn’t too chilly until the end! Amanda was a trooper on the beach, when the sun had dropped and it got COLD! Yet, she never stopped smiling or having fun.
We had a BLAST with these two, and I was actually sad when the session ended! We literally shot until the last bit of light was left. I’m already excited for Amanda’s Bridal Session in July, and their big day at Rose Hill Plantation in August!
