Field Engagement Session | Allison & Logan | February 22, 2024
I feel like all mom friends joke about setting up their children so they can become family… and in Allison & Logan’s case that’s exactly what happened! After growing up in church together, their families even vacationing together, and Allison & Logan being just friends for years – finally something evolved from friendship about 2 years ago… and now they’re engaged!!! 🙂
We go to the same church as Logan & Allison, so it’s been fun seeing them in passing each week leading up to our session together! One Sunday we even saw from across the parking lot Logan going around the car to open the door for Allison as she got into it. Such a gentleman!!! I was very impressed.
It was finally the day for our Engagement Session together, and we were planning on using a field. Phillip and I got there early to scout out what field to use – AND THEY WERE ALL MOWED DOWN. The last field left was currently being mowed down by 2 big mowers as we watched…. and I was pretty bummed! We asked Allison & Logan if they were willing to quickly use that field before it was completely mowed over, and they said yes! It was amazing, because by the time we got down there, the mowers had stopped for the day and we were able to shoot there without having to rush OR yell over the mowing sounds! It was such a huge blessing!!!! Another blessing was the sun popping out for that portion of the session! Right after we were done with that field, the sun permantely went behind the clouds and got dark & colder! 🙂
We still had a very windy winter day, so Allison and Logan were both really good sports about being patient with the wind! Allison’s hair held the curls really well (even in the wind!) and her glam looked soooo pretty. I really loved her eye makeup!!! (Thanks to Reign Beauty for the stunning glam!)
We had such a fun afternoon walking around with these two. They’re so laid back and chill – it makes our jobs so easy with their flexibility and willingness to be up for anything!!
I can’t wait for ya’ll to see my favorite photos below! Enjoy!
P.S. A funny coincidence – After the session, we BOTH ended up at Cowfish to eat dinner about 30 minutes later, and it wasn’t planned! Great minds think alike!! 🙂
