Allie & Kevin = Highgrove Estate Wedding Day!

Yall…. It was a LONG time coming for Allie & Kevin to finally tie the knot!!! After meeting at work almost 10 years ago, they became friends first (although Kevin says it was love at first sight for him) and then he beat the “Friend Zone” and asked his DREAM girl to marry him in 2019! Phillip and I had the honor of photographing their sweet winter Engagement Session in December 2019 (click HERE if you want to refresh your memory and see their blog!) with the intention of photographing Kevin & Allie’s MacGregor Downs wedding on November 14, 2020.

Well…. COVID hit and not only is Allie a nurse but a lot of their family is from out of state. They made the selfless, difficult decision to put safety of everyone as top priority and reschedule their wedding for almost a whole YEAR away, for October 15^th 2021 at The Highgrove Estate instead. I can’t imagine how hard of a decision that was to wait an extra year!!!

SO….. when this Friday finallyyyyyy rolled around and they had PERFECT temperatures & beautiful sunshine – I was happy because Kevin and Allie were so deserving of it!!!! TWO YEARS of waiting, you guys!!!!! Allie & all the girls arrived to Highgrove in a stretch limo… and when I greeted them the FIRST thing she said was how excited she was to have “the best photographers” there to celebrate with them – and it was once again SO selfless and kind! Both Kevin AND Allie complimented US all day, and are truly the sweetest!!! 🙂

The girls arrived with their glam done, and looked beautiful! They enjoyed snacks & hanging out in the pretty bridal suite, while the guys hung out playing cards and betting haha! 🙂

Allie looked STUNNING, and it was so sweet seeing the close relationship she has with her family. I loved witnessing Allie’s First Look with her dad, and the precious bond they share.

One of my favorite parts of their day was seeing Kevin’s reaction to Allie walking down the aisle. After waiting for almost a DECADE to marry “The girl of his dreams” I can’t imagine the emotion he felt seeing her walk towards him and promise each other forever. It was absolutely SUCH a sweet, genuine, heartfelt moment and what every girl dreams of!!! 🙂

The reception kicked off with a delicious dinner, toasts, cake, LOTS of dancing, and even a flambé doughnut bar for a late night snack!!! You can NEVER go wrong with late night food in our opinion! It made us so happy to see Kevin and Allie finally be able to celebrate this long-awaited day with their closest family and friends. They went through a tunnel of sparklers, and it was just magical!!!

We think SO HIGHLY of this sweet, laid-back couple. They made our jobs so easy and it was perfect. I already have a lot of favorite photos to share with ya’ll below! I hope you LOVE seeing all of my faves. ENJOY!!!!! 🙂
