Wilson NC Wedding Day | Kate + Cameron | October 6, 2018
After spending most of their relationship as an engaged couple, Cam and Kate finally tied the knot! We were SO honored to capture their special day, and looking forward to photographing them for the FIRST time!
It’s not often we get the opportunity to shoot a wedding in our hometown, so it was fun to only have a 5-minute drive “to work”! The ceremony was held at the First Presbyterian Church, and the reception took place at the Wilson Women’s Club – both venues we’d never worked at before!
The girls spent a relaxing morning at home, and finished getting ready at the church! They were all incredibly sweet, and were easy to be around. The guys also arrived at church and took photos before the ceremony began!
The ceremony was so beautiful, and there were huge flower sprays near the altar that were a really nice pop of color! The sanctuary had TALL ceilings and it was such a pretty church to get married inside!
Everyone in the bridal party were all SUCH good sports in the HEAT (yes, in October we were all sweating!!!) and there were tons of gnats and mosquitoes in the grass. We were constantly fanning bugs away, yet everyone kept great spirits! (Ya’ll were awesome!)
After the ceremony, we headed over to the Wilson Women’s club for the reception, which was catered by Something Different! The reception was SO cheery and bright, with lots of windows and gorgeous flower arrangements everywhere! The cake was the center focus, and it was so pretty!
Kate and Cam left for their honeymoon while all their guests blew bubbles, and it was such a fun way to end the evening! We hope you’ll enjoy seeing some of our favorite images from their beautiful day below!
