Chelsea + Adam = Wedding Day!

 

The Grantham House Wedding, Goldsboro NC  |  Chelsea + Adam  |  October 20^th, 2018

 

After dating for SO many years, Chelsea and Adam’s wedding day finally arrived on Saturday! It was a crisp fall day, with the leaves at the Grantham House starting to change color, and the property was decorated with brightly colored mums and pumpkins.

 

The Grantham House itself is a southern girl’s DREAM, with bright getting-ready rooms with tons of windows and high ceilings. Chelsea and her girls enjoyed getting glammed up, listening to music, and snacking on brunch food! I LOVED getting to know Chelsea’s bridesmaids, they were all so outgoing and fun to be around!!!

 

We were SO thankful that even with a very dark and overcast day, the rain held off all morning so photos could be taken outside! Right before their outdoor ceremony, the rain started… but everyone was great sports and went through with the ceremony on the gorgeous front porch of the house… umbrellas and all. We just LOVE when couples embrace their day, and go with the flow.

 

During family portraits, it got REALLY dark outside, and was still raining. We finished with family, & bridal party photos…. and JUST as we were starting Bride & Groom photos the SUN CAME OUT for the FIRST TIME that entire day, and Chelsea + Adam got GLOW in their portraits!!!!!! It made us hug for joy, and it was the biggest, happiest surprise!

 

Their reception was filled with really sweet toasts, and several tears were shed. Everyone enjoyed southern food for dinner, and lots of line dancing! It was so wonderful to see how LOVED Adam and Chelsea are by their friends and family. They ended the reception with a sparkler exit, and drove off to their afterparty!!! It was a perfect way to end such a sweet day!
