TLJ Couples Party 2020

Phillip and I planned our first TLJ Couples Party with the intention of blessing our couples with food/fun/fellowship – but ended the evening realizing WE were actually the ones being showered by love and support from all our couples!!! 🙂

We were absolutely amazed by all our couples who drove from hours away to come hang out with us! We had two couples bring their newborn babies, an 8-month pregnant couple, and even a couple who’s daughter turned THREE today!!!! How cool that our TLJ family is growing so much?!

I was so worried about 40+ people having fun even if they didn’t know each other (HI…..OVERTHINKER HERE!) and I was blown away with happiness seeing our couples introducing themselves, playing games together, and having long conversations with other couples they’d never even met!!!!

I wanted a “carnival vibe” for our party – so we had Brewmaster’s pizza truck making custom pizzas hot for each person (chicken bacon ranch was BOMB!) and Brewmasters Mobile’s adorable teal green horse trailer for all the drinks. The weather held out for cornhole, Kan Jam, a bonfire with s’mores – and inside we had ping pong, games, custom cupcakes and cookies by Cole Cole’s, an ice cream sundae bar, and it was just the BEST!!!! (Thanks to Angela + Cameron for letting us borrow your outdoor heater – it came in clutch!)

We had the absolute BEST night – and we’re already planning a TLJ Couples game night, and maybe making this party an annual event?!?!

I honestly didn’t take a single photo all night – so thanks to my sister Angela for offering to take all these photos for us!!!!
