The Best of 2019 = Engagement Sessions!

I used to be SO NERVOUS about Engagement Sessions, wanting especially our grooms to have FUN while getting their photo taken! I feel like in 2019 we had SO MANY amazing guys with great attitudes during their sessions – hamming it up, having fun, and making our jobs EASY! So a real quick thank you to each of our brides (and especially our grooms!) for embracing all my crazy ideas, locations, and poses!!!!

When our couples are vibing, laughing, and having fun it truly makes ME a better photographer and helps me create even BETTER images in the moment! It’s funny how people compliment ME on the photos, when really it’s our COUPLES having great chemistry and doing AMAZING in front of my camera!

This year, we got to photograph several unique places – Wilmington, Beaufort, a private Edenton plantation, at homes, and lots of pretty gardens and parks!

Phillip’s favorite part was ALL THE DOGS that our couples incorporated this year!!! Ya’ll know Phillip is obsessed with animals, and he loves meeting all our couples dogs and taking photos of them haha!

All the sparkly rings and beautiful outfits this year really were amped up! Everyone did such a great job with his or her style for photos.
