The BEST of 2018!

THE BEST OF 2018   |   Weddings, Engagement Sessions, and Bridal Sessions   |   January 1st, 2019

2018 has been an amazing year for our business! We surpassed a huge milestone, by photographing our 106TH  WEDDING!!!!!

It was also the year that we decided to focus fully on Weddings / Engagements / Bridals, and not photograph any other types of sessions. It was incredible to pour the extra time and energy into our couples!!!  We made real friendships with so many of our 2018 couples, and feel SO BLESSED. 🙂

The year flew by with 56 meetings with our couples, 42 sessions, and 21 weddings! Wow!!!

We have had SEVERAL pregnancy announcements this year, and our Tiffany L. Johnson couples now have 36 BABIES since their weddings!

This year, we’ve also had some really sad losses in 2018, from the Joyner family (dad), Issette family (mom), Raper family (brother) – and it made us realize even MORE SO that photographs are heirlooms, cherished moments with your family members and friends that you can keep forever.

Some fun facts about out 2018:

1. We photographed a session in the SNOW (see it here!)
2. We photographed 2 SISTERS of former TLJ brides: Courtney & Samantha (see them here and here!)
3. We had 6 rainy wedding days! [but were able to still have outdoor portraits!]
4. I designed 9 of our couples’ Invitation Suites! YAY!
5. We got to photograph 2 weddings back-to-back with the AWESOME band, Liquid Pleasure!
6. Ramses (the UNC Mascot) surprised everyone & partied at Ellie + Logan’s wedding! It was SO FUN!
