Taylor & Nick = Sunrise Engagement Session!

We were so excited to photograph Nick and Taylor for the first time! They booked us just 2 months ago, and immediately got on our calendars to have their session before our NC landscapes change to winter! We were blessed with perfect temperatures – my first session in 5 months without sweating! That’s a huge win!!! Since we were photographing at a busy public park, we decided to make the sleep sacrifice of doing a SUNRISE session to avoid crowds, and wow, it was definitely worth it! We only had a few people exercising around us, and mainly had the park to ourselves. It was so wonderful to not be dodging people every two seconds!! :)

Taylor looked so beautiful (she did her own glam!) and Nick’s handsome outfits complimented her patterned dresses perfectly! Taylor’s one-shouldered floral dress was a dress from her friend’s boutique, and Taylor was so excited to surprise her girlfriend by wearing one of her pieces for such a special occasion! Surprise!!! :) 

It was such a fun morning with these two, just laughing and exploring around the park together – talking about sports, food, travel, and all things wedding planning! They’ve accomplished so much lately with finalizing important wedding tasks – so it was extra special to spend today capturing their love story in this moment between all the busyness! That’s what it’s all about :)
