Rose Hill Plantation Wedding Day | Taylor + Bradley | September 28, 2019
After planning their wedding for 1.5 years, Taylor and Brad tied the knot on a beautiful September day at Rose Hill Plantation! We’d been looking forward to their day ever since their precious Engagement Session (click HERE to see it!) and her beautiful Bridal Session (click HERE if you missed seeing it!)
It was a gorgeous wedding day … full of well-thought-out details, laughter, happy tears, sentimental speeches, dancing, and sunshine!!! What a perfect day!!!
We started off the morning photographing lots of sentimental pieces for Taylor. Brad’s mom had even kept a handkerchief that she was given when Bradley was born all these years for Taylor to wrap around her bouquet stems. How special is that?!
All the girls were upstairs getting glammed up (by a former TLJ Bride, Karey Foushee Nicholson!) and everyone was so nice and welcoming! (Taylor’s MOH was also a former TLJ Bride, Samantha Walker Joyner!!) I loved the blue and white PJs the ladies wore, and they were having so much fun hanging out!
Taylor had a few really sweet First Looks – one with her bridesmaids, her dad Roger, her stepdad John, and a First Touch with Brad! It was so sweet seeing Taylor’s dad Roger get emotional about giving away “his little girl”. So precious!!!
They had a beautiful ceremony on the front porch of the Manor – including lots of live music and a live watercolor artist capturing the whole ceremony. I loved the florals they added to the front porch – especially the little touch on the lantern!
After the ceremony, we photographed their portraits – and Taylor requested their Bridal Party to ring the bell together, which folklore says is supposed to ward off any bad things for a happy marriage!
The reception kicked off with the Adrian Duke Project band jamming out, Rose Hill catering an amazing dinner, their Live Artist (This Creative Nest) painting a second watercolor of their First Dance, and everyone having a great time dancing with glow sticks! Taylor and Brad snuck out to dig up their bourbon that they buried 1 month prior, which is also a southern folklore that wards off rain on your wedding day! It sure worked for Brad and Taylor!!!
One of the special parts of the reception was having a photo with all FIVE of our TLJ couples who were guests at the wedding! So fun that Taylor requested that photo!!!!
At the end of their amazing day, Taylor and Brad went through a tunnel of sparklers to a car, and whisked off into the night!!! Now, they’re celebrating on their honeymoon in Aruba.
I hope you all LOVE seeing my favorites from their stunning wedding day!!!! ENJOY!!!!!
Also, a huge thanks to everyone who made yesterday possible!
