Wedding Day | Schuyler & Lyndon | April 10, 2021
If I had to sum up Schuyler & Lyndon’s wedding day with just one word, it would be FUN!!!! From the moment we arrived at Schuyler’s childhood home where the girls were getting glam, to the moment they left through a sparkler tunnel the day was SO MUCH FUN! (Also… If you missed seeing Schuyler’s elegant Bridal Session, click HERE!)
It was special to see Schuyler get ready in her childhood home. It was beautiful and fit the “traditional / elegant” theme of her wedding perfectly. Her sweet mom was so precious – offering us food & water, making sure we had all the details we needed, and was so accommodating! Katelyn (Schuyler’s sister in law and MOH was also the best – helping out, keeping things on schedule, and making everyone laugh) I loved the long robes the ladies wore getting ready, and we had the best morning of getting photos done. I especially loved photographing a few sentimental pieces of Schuyler’s: her MOM’s wedding earrings AND her mom’s garter, (Schuyler wore both of them on her wedding day too!) and some silver pieces from when she was born. So special!!!! I love when there are pieces passed down in a family & hearing the stories behind them. 🙂
We photographed the girls on the family property – finishing RIGHT in time, as the rain started sprinkling. So happy we got it done! The guys had a fun man cave to get ready and relax at, and I LOVED the field they used for all their photos! It was super cool.
The ceremony was meaningful being at the Edmondson’s home church, and they had beautiful music. Afterwards, we rushed off to the Country club for photos just as dark rain clouds were rolling in. We ran into the grass with Lyndon and Schuyler, and we literally did a WHIRLWIND of photos soooooooo fast since it had started sprinkling again. They were GREAT sports because we went at a RAPID PACE and gnats were SWARMING us too! Way to go, you two!
Thankfully, we finished all the photos without a downpour, and we headed into the reception early! Win win!!! The reception kicked off with a bang, with food by Something Different and bartending by Brewmasters Mobile (both from Wilson, yay for our little hometown!) and best of all, The Band Punch was there to give one HECK of a PARTY!!!!
We had the BEST TIME photographing Lyndon & Schuyler’s fun crowd enjoying their night and watching the amazing performance! We always love having a live band at our weddings! At the end of the night, Schuyler & Lyndon went through a sparkler tunnel and were whisked away to Antigua! What a perfect day! I can’t WAIT for you to see some of my favorites from their day below!
