WEDDING DAY | Samantha & Ty | October 24, 2020
Ever since Samantha & Ty’s Engagement and Bridal Sessions (If you missed them… click HERE to see their epic Engagement Session, and HERE to see Samantha’s gorgeous Bridal Session everyone has been RAVING over!) Phillip and I have been SO looking forward to their wedding day! We knew it would be SO AWESOME because their personalities are so laid-back, always having fun, cracking jokes, and Samantha is alwaysssss laughing!!!!
Once again, they didn’t disappoint and their wedding day was incredible! We had a beautiful day (actually a little HOT in the 80’s for the end of a North Carolina October!) and things went so smoothly and beautifully. The girls were getting glam together in the bridal suite wearing their super cute Poppy & Co. hydrangea PJ’s, and I got to photograph all of Samantha’s beautiful details. I MEAN THOSE SHOES ya’ll! Soooo pretty. I loved all the heirloom pieces she incorporated, like the silver tray & the jewelry!
Ty and Samantha chose to have a First Look, and we were able to take TONS of portraits because of it! They were troopers in the heat AND the Nash County GNATS were out in FULL FORCE. It was really miserable, but Samantha and Ty toughed it out for us!
After a beautiful ceremony, they kicked off the reception at Samantha’s family home. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen SO MUCH FOOD at a reception, they really spoiled their guests with tons of options!!! The tables were beautiful with floral arrangements and I loved the gold abstract table cloths they chose for all the cocktail tables!!!
I was most excited to find out that Samantha & Ty had FUNFETTI CAKE as one of their layers!!!! Our former TLJ Bride Amanda (see her beautiful 2019 wedding HERE!!!) snagged me a HUGE piece, and it was sooooo yummy!!!
Ty and Samantha dug up their bourbon they’d buried (Ty dug it up bare handed, and we used cell phones as our flashlights – HAHA!) and obviously it worked since we had NO rain!!! Then they partied and danced the rest of the night. They had SUCH a fun group of friends, and Impultz Entertainment had the dance floor rocking as usual!
It was such a wonderful wedding day, and I’m so pumped for ya’ll to see my favorites below!!! ENJOY!!!
