Samantha & Nathan = Winter Engagement Session!

What a beautiful winter day we had for Nathan & Samantha’s session! After a week of really cold days, we were blessed with a 60º afternoon, no bad wind gusts, AND sunshine! It was so great to finally meet these two in person for their Engagement Session! Samantha’s family lives just 3 minutes away from this arboretum, (and her sister got married here!) so it was extra special to photograph them in her hometown! :)

Samantha & Nathan wanted to include their 3 pups – Mave, Stanley, & Nala, in their session, so 2 of Samantha’s sisters (Chessey and Brooke) were sweet enough to come hang out with the dogs and get energy out for us! Even Samantha’s mom, Celina, stopped by before work real quick to say hello! What a sweet, fun family! :) Samantha’s sister Brooke was so thoughtful, that when Samantha couldn’t find collars that matched for the dogs, the DAY before our session Brooke found a tutorial on Pinterest and MADE the dogs collars!!! How sweet is that? She’s so talented!

We had such a fun afternoon with everyone – finding all the pretty light, petting the pups, talking about Mexican food, and enjoying photographing Samantha & Nathan! (Also, can we discuss Samantha’s MERMAID HAIR and her beautiful lashes too?! Obsessedddd!) Also… the fact that Nathan’s shoe laces even matched Samantha’s dress – that’s attention to detail right there! They made my job so easy by being super laid-back, easy to pose, and just embracing all my ideas! It was a blast. Which means… now I have so many favorite photos to share with ya’ll, so I hope you love them too. ENJOY!!! :)
