Randi Bryden = Highgrove Estate Bridal Session!

Sometimes we get lucky with a bride who just WORKS a camera, does her own thing, and straight up MODELS like a pro. Randi was exactly that from the second we started shooting – and made my job just a breeze! Randi is such a natural, and we had the best time photographing her! 🙂

After an iffy weather forecast all week – including a downpour in the Raleigh area that same morning – we ended up getting blessed with a sunny & dry evening! It was still HOT & humid, but we were so thankful for no rain and even pops of sunshine after watching the weather all week!

Randi’s sweet sister, Kara, came all the way from Kentucky to help with the session, see Randi in her dress for the first time, and also enjoy seeing The Highgrove for the first time too! I just love a sister bond, so it was extra special having her there with us to help! I loved hearing them brag on their mom who did all of Randi’s alterations (including making CUSTOM straps for Randi’s dress and CUSTOM making the veil with all of those beautiful “raindrops” on it!) Amazing!!! To be completely honest, I was beyond blown away with seeing Randi’s engagement ring for the first time in person – it is the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen! Ben did an incredible job with designing it! I’m just obsessed! I loved that Randi also wore her Grandmother’s ring on her right hand – she had similar style with a classic simple gold band with her diamond. I loved that.

We had the best evening walking around the Highgrove, (enjoying the AC for as long as possible, let’s be honest haha) photographing Randi, and enjoying the beautiful summer day. 🙂
