Rachel Strother = The Maxwell Bridal Session!

After a week full of session reschedules due to rain (rainiest summer ever, ya’ll!) Rachel and I decided to chance it & roll with the weather for her session! It was sprinkling in Wilson when I left for our session, but by the time I arrived at The Maxwell, it was sunny with no rain! What a blessing!! (Although it was soooo HUMID, and Rachel was such a good sport to deal with all the heat!) :)

We had such a fun evening of exploring around the Maxwell together, seeing all of the new updates there, and Rachel’s mom, Meredith, seeing the venue for the first time! It was so special!  It’s such a beautiful venue both inside and outside – so we took full advantage of both (and the good air conditioning, haha!) Thankfully, Phillip carried around a little fan when we got extra hot outside & cooled us down some in between poses!

Rachel looked stunning in her gown from White of Raleigh, and it was so classic, yet modern! Reign Beauty & Valerie Dunn did a great job with Rachel’s glam + hair, and Brushed by Bec designed her bouquet! It’s always so fun to see everything come together, and see my brides finally FEEL and look like a bride!!! It’s really one of the most special parts of my job. :)
