Rose Hill Estate Wedding Day | Olivia & George | September 25, 2021
George & Olivia’s wedding day was incredible. Not only was their design absolute perfection and implemented flawlessly – but we had the most beautiful weather, a fun crowd, and an awesome vendor team to make the day so wonderful! 🙂
By the way, if you missed seeing Olivia’s incredible style choices for her Bridal Session – click on this link to see her gorgeous sneak peek! 🙂
We started off the day photographing Olivia’s details. I loved all the beautiful paper pieces, and so much thought was put into each item! A handkerchief from George’s grandmother (who passed away), a cocktail sign named after their dog, a custom venue watercolor by one of Olivia’s bridesmaids, and of course that gorgeous butterfly veil was so stunning to photograph. Olivia’s Jimmy Choos covered in pearls were so unique and a modern twist on a classic – pearls! I’ve had so many people message me saying how much they LOVE Olivia’s shoes! Even more impressive was that Olivia wore those high heels almost the ENTIRE day!
The bridesmaids were all so fun – and they enjoyed a relaxing morning getting glam by the Tease + Blush team! Once Olivia was dressed, the bridesmaids had a sweet First Look with her. Next was a First Look with Olivia’s dad – and it was so cute because he was gushing over how incredible she looked. It was precious! George & Olivia opted for a First Look too, and it was SO cute seeing how HAPPY they are together. Olivia was smiling the biggest, happiest smile – and it made my heart so happy as I edited these photos!!! 🙂
Their ceremony took place in front of the manor house – and the floral arch was so whimsical featuring some greenery from Olivia’s family home. I loved that unique touch making it personal. Their guests had perfect weather to enjoy sitting outside watching them become husband and wife. One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was the recessional – guests tossed petals as they recessed down the aisle, and it was such a romantic touch!
We photographed more bride & groom portraits after the ceremony, and the light was just so glowy and beautiful! They were great sports to pose in the gnats (what is up with the gnats, Nash County?!) and I love how many spots we were able to photograph since they had a First Look!
The reception kicked off with a BANG!!!! George & Olivia treated their guests to an EPIC night – full of delicious food, drinks, cake, late night snack (always a YES in our book!), a band, glow sticks & sunnies, and a lounge area outside for people to enjoy the evening. Olivia changed into the most EPIC reception dress – and barely left the dance floor. I was so happy to see George and Olivia enjoying themselves with family and friends all night – it was SUCH a great time!!!!
At the end of the evening, George and Olivia left in a getaway convertible through a tunnel of sparklers. Her pink dress POPPED in the darkness, and I loved how fun that look was!!!
Phillip and I are so honored to have photographed Mr. & Mrs. Smith’s wedding day! Olivia + George are so thoughtful and kind – making it EASY to celebrate them! Not only did they surprise us with a Cowfish gift card – but Olivia emailed me the NEXT MORNING thanking us for photographing their big day. How selfless and sweet is that?! I was truly blown away by her kindness!!!!!!
I have SO MANY FAVORITES from their beautiful day, and can’t wait for ya’ll to see all my faves below. ENJOY!!!!!
P.S. One last huge thanks to their top-notch vendor team who made the day seamless
