Rose Hill Estate | Wedding Day | Molly & Cutchin | March 19, 2022
It’s always a wonderful day when we get to photograph at Rose Hill Estate! We were so pumped to be back – especially after not only photographing Molly & Cutchin’s happy Engagement Session there (click HERE if you missed seeing that blog!) but also photographing Molly’s Bridal Session where she looked like a REAL MODEL while posing (click HERE if you want to see her Bridal sneak peek!) 🙂
Molly and the girls were already halfway through hair and makeup when we arrived (yay for a day that goes smoothly!) and all the guys were skeet shooting on the property and hanging out relaxing. Molly and her bridesmaids wore the chicest satin pjs with the cutest details on the sleeves and pant bottoms! So fun and different!
Phillip and I started off photographing all of Molly’s details, and a few special items stood out to me! Her engagement ring from Cutchin features a diamond from his grandmother’s ring, and the beaded little clutch was Molly’s grandma’s! How stylish was she?! I love hearing the significance behind all the details I photograph, it makes my job that much more meaningful! 🙂
I loved getting to know Molly’s sweet bridesmaids. Cutchin’s 3 sisters were bridesmaids, and the relationship Molly has with them is really amazing! They were all so precious. One of my favorite parts of getting ready was when Molly got into her dress. Her sister Katherine started tearing up watching her little sister get ready, and having 2 younger sisters myself it hit home and I totally felt her emotions!!!! It was soooooo sweet!!! Molly had the cutest First Look with all her girls, and then one with her dad! It was a windy day outside, so we were grateful to have the front porch for all the portraits to block the wind for us! The blue bridesmaids dresses with all the white columns looked absolutely beautiful!
The ceremony was our FIRST one in the Pecan Grove! Cutchin and Molly had a live artist painting the ceremony, and a harpist & violinist playing music as guests got seated. There was a huge white cross as a focal point for the ceremony, and it looked beautiful against all the green! The ceremony was beautiful, and just enough sun to keep everyone warm in the wind!
As Molly & Cutchin exited the ceremony, they went off to the side for some alone time together – they are just the absolute CUTEST together, and I loved capturing their authentic love as they were soaking in that “just married” feeling! Those photos are so special to me!
After photographing all the post-ceremony portraits, it was time for the reception!!! Dawn Guy had transformed Nathan Hall with pops of color (it looked like SPRING!) and I especially loved the gorgeous fireplace mantel display! It was so unique. 🙂
They kicked off the reception with lots of food (3 stations of food – everything from smoked brisket to chips + guacamole!) drinks, cake, and LOTS and LOTS of dancing! The Sleeping Booty Band kept the guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG! They were so much fun to watch and interactive too! Fun fact – for the past 2 years Phillip and I have been virtually attending the Summit Church, and our favorite Summit musician Mike just HAPPENED to be the lead singer of the band!!!! I totally fangirled and loved every minute of seeing him perform in person!
Molly & Cutchin are so generous with their time, that they went table to table talking to all their guests before joining all their friends on the dance floor. It was so sweet to watch them make time to talk with as many people as possible! Especially when they had 350 guests!!!
The day flew by so fast because we were having so much fun – and to end the night, Molly & Cutchin had a private last dance together. I love when our couples wind down the night with just a moment to the 2 of them! Then they exited down a tunnel of sparklers to a vintage Rolls Royce! Another fun fact – that’s the same getaway car that Molly’s parents exited their wedding reception in, AND Molly’s sister Katherine a few years ago! How special is that?!
It was a perfect way to end such a happy day! I have soooo soooo many favorites to share with ya’ll, so I hope you ENJOY!!!! Comment below which ones are YOUR favorites! 🙂
