Megan & Grey = Waterfront Engagement Session!

One of the biggest honors is when our former brides SISTERS book us when their time comes to get married! We photographed Danielle & Kent’s wedding back in 2015, along with their Engagement/Bridal Sessions, we also had the honor of photographing the Adams family portraits one year, and even Danielle’s sister Megan’s graduation photos! All these years later, Megan just booked us for her wedding! We were SO EXCITED!!! 🙂 

Megan & Grey love spending time at the beach and on the water in Grey’s boat (it’s not even a year old, custom ordered, and is sooooo beautiful!) So when they suggested doing their Engagement Session in their neck of the woods & including his boat, it was an immediate YES!!!

We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day! It was the hottest day of the week, but the wind helped to keep us from all sweating too much! It was so great to meet Grey for the first time, and catch up seeing Megan! I loved finally seeing her engagement ring in person, Grey did an incredible job with it!

We found the most magical little sandy spot with Spanish moss – and started off taking photos there! It was beautiful, I could have photographed there ALL DAY! Their outfits photographed so well against all the green. I loved seeing how happy Megan is, and how much she laughs with Grey! Next up, we headed down to the boat ramp, and took the coolest photos on their boat! Phillip even brought his drone, and took some epic drone shots that I just LOVEEEE!!!

After we wrapped the session, Grey and Megan were so generous to offer us a boat ride!!! We immediately said YES – and we got to enjoy their beautiful boat cutting across the water so smoothly as the sun was setting. It was such a fun experience, we had the BEST time!!! It was also really amazing to see what a great team these two make, as Megan helped to trailer the boat & was knowledgeable about how to help Grey with all of the process! They make such a good pair together – aligning with similar interests, and life plans/goals! I think that’s so amazing!  🙂
