Ya’ll, I just LOVE photographing this beautiful girl! Not only is she stunning, but she’s just the sweetest, most chill & laid-back bride – and makes every single session so fun and easy!!! What a dream!! It seems like just yesterday we were photographing her sister’s Bridal Session – but it’s been TEN YEARS! Now, it’s time for Megan to be the bride!!! :)

After one reschedule due to NC having a rare snow, we finally got the chance to photograph this beauty! We had a sunny day – but it was one of the WINDIEST days we’ve photographed in – 35mph wind gusts!!! It was also a cold day, so Megan was an absolute saint to deal with the cold winds in her wedding dress!!! She posed like a pro, and her sweet mom Kim was a huge help to me with fixing the dress and veil that were whipping around in the wind!!

Megan looked so beautiful as a bride! I loved her wedding dress with all the detailed appliqués, the unique shape of the train – and her long veil! I also loved how simple she kept her jewelry so that the dress could really be the focus! It was perfect. Also, her updo was absolutely one of my all-time favorites – and even kept the shape and curl with those crazy wind gusts!!! I was really impressed by that. I can’t wait for Grey to see Megan as his bride!!!

We chased the sunshine all around the venue until all of our fingers were too cold to be outside any longer! I have so many favorite photos to share with ya’ll – who would have guessed that we had insane winds?! Megan is a trooper and I’m so thankful for her trusting me for all those outdoor photos in the cold. You’re amazing, Megan!
