King Fisher Society Wedding | Laurinburg, NC | Mary Taylor + Taylor | September 29, 2018
After long-distance dating for over 5 years, Taylor and Mary Taylor finally got MARRIED on Saturday!!! We were so incredibly honored to capture their beautiful day, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
The morning started out with all the girls getting pampered at the Red Willow Studio downtown, and all the boys were hanging out at the Lodge at King Fisher! The ladies at Red Willow did an amazing job of hair AND makeup for a really big bridal party, and they were so nice too!
Once all the girls were ready, Mary Taylor and her brother, Curt, had an emotional First Look together at King Fisher. It was so sweet to see her relationship with her brother!
We did all the portraits outside of the Lodge at King Fisher, and everyone was great sports because the mosquitoes from the hurricane were HUGE and attacking everyone. I still have red welts on my arms from them!!! All the bridesmaids and groomsmen let us do our job, and didn’t complain! Mary Taylor and Taylor also trusted us with turning a random location into what we called “Charleston oak trees”!!! They were awesome to trust our vision!
The ceremony was so personal, sweet, and Mary Taylor said afterwards that she was overwhelmed with the emotion that she could FEEL the spiritual presence of her daddy in the room. Soooooo special. I know he was looking down with a big smile over the union of Taylor and MT.
All their guests arrived at the reception location by PONTOON BOAT! How cool is that?! The reception was right on the water, under a big tent and sprawled outside to a fire pit, outdoor bar, and a dancing pavilion.
As usual, Ray with Brady’s Florist KILLED IT on the food, décor, directing, and everything else he did. Everything looked beautiful, and all the guests were spoiled with a delicious buffet, drinks, cake, and lots of good music by All Events DJ!
They exited through a tunnel of sparklers and it was beautiful!!! We are SO HAPPY for these two, and we hope you’ll enjoy seeing our favorite photos below!
