Merrimon Wynne House Bridal Session | Marianne Moore | August 10, 2021
Marianne is one of the sweetest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. We were SO looking forward to her Bridal Session because she’s always so bubbly and you can’t help but to SMILE around her! 🙂
Marianne chose Merrimon Wynne as the backdrop for her Bridal Session, and it was the perfect complement to her elegant wedding dress. She looked absolutely beautiful in her sparkly gown and her happiness truly radiated from her! 🙂
Sometimes it takes a village for a Bridal Session, and we were happy to have Marianne’s friend Kaitlyn and her mom join us too! It was a SUPER HOT August day, so we had to step inside and take breaks in the AC! Marianne was SUCH a good sport because we had sweat dripping – yet she never complained! Booking a venue with both indoor and outdoor options is always a smart idea in my opinion. So helpful to have a place to cool off!
We had the best afternoon walking all around Merrimon Wynne photographing! Marianne’s wedding colors are shades of dusty blues, so we made sure to utilize both the porch and the famous blue doors at Merrimon! Every single space is so gorgeous at the venue.
After Merrimon, Marianne wanted to have a few photos in front of a church door, since she’s getting married in a church. Phillip and I scouted some church doors around downtown Raleigh, and the random one we chose just HAPPENED to be one that Marianne had posed in front of as a child for photos! When her mom told me that, I could hardly believe it!
I hope you all will LOVE seeing some of my favorites from this sweet bride’s Bridal Session below. ENJOY! 🙂
