Wedding Day | Marianne & Cameron | September 18, 2021
Marianne & Cameron’s wedding day was such a Christ-filled, sweet day full of celebration! 🙂
We had already enjoyed spending time with them during their beautiful Engagement Session on the coast (if you missed seeing that blog, click HERE!) and Marianne’s Bridal Session (if you missed seeing her blog of portraits, click HERE!) so we looked forward to seeing this sweet couple again!!! 🙂
We started off our day photographing the girls getting ready at Marianne’s childhood home. It was so special photographing her in a place that means so much! It was a beautiful property and had so much space for all the girls to spread out and enjoy a relaxing getting ready process!!!
The guys got ready right down the road from the girls, in an Airbnb that Marianne’s family renovated and rent out! Cameron treated his guys to some Bojangles to snack on (good choice!), and gifted them Fossil watches and fun socks! Be sure to see Cameron’s custom socks – they literally have Marianne’s face all over them, haha!!!
Marianne & Cameron chose to have a First Touch on her parents porch, and then the ceremony happened in Mount Olive! My favorite part of the ceremony was during the unity candle song – Marianne took Cameron’s hands and sang along with the song worshipping together. It was such a special moment to witness!
After the ceremony, it was time for portraits! Marianne & Cameron wanted to put a big emphasis on Bride/Groom portraits, and spend extra time photographing them. (YAY!) The only problem was that the church didn’t have any photogenic spots for what we wanted! Instead… Phillip and I found this magical little spot near the church and asked Marianne if she trusted us to use it – sight unseen! She didn’t doubt us for a second, and went for it! You’ll never guess where this beautiful spot was ….. IN THE PARKING LOT OF A TRACTOR SUPPLY STORE!!! It turned out to be the prettiest little spot with ivy on the trees and lots of greenery. It was perfect!!!!
The reception kicked off with the bridal party shooting off confetti cannons!!! I loved how Marianne printed SO many of their Engagement & Bridal Session photos and had them framed around the reception. They treated their guests to dancing, a photobooth, a dinner buffet, cake, so many little things around the room to sign/do, and even had Chickfila cookies as favors (perfect since Cameron works for Chickfila and may want to own one someday!)
We snuck out for a few extra minutes of photos and Marianne & Cameron did an amazing job ALL DAY battling the terrible gnats and bugs they had flying around them. It was really really intense with the gnats, yet they were great sports to still have smiles on their faces!!!
We ended the evening with a tunnel of sparklers, and it was such a happy way to end our day together! I can’t wait for you all to enjoy seeing some of my favorite photos from their beautiful September day below.
