Margaret & Jacob = Highgrove Estate Wedding Day!

Wow ya’ll, what a HAPPY day this was!!! Margaret & Jacob have been dating for 7 years, and officially tied the knot! Their happiness over their wedding day was so evident all day – they were such a dream to work for!! :)

We started off the day at the new Highgrove Cottage (so cute!) and photographed details while the girls got glammed! The Tease + Blush team did an incredible job and even finished early! I loved photographing all of Margaret’s blue items- a few special things to note: Jacob’s ring is his grandfather’s wedding band, the little pin is 5th generation of ladies to wear it on their wedding day in Margaret’s family, and Margaret’s wedding band is custom made  – it took weeks without her own engagement ring so they could match it perfectly!

Everyone arrived to the Highgrove Estate and we photographed all of their getting ready. Margaret had a sweet First Look with her dad, Robb (he was amazing and so helpful and kind all day!) and then Jacob + Margaret wrote letters to exchange with each other before their First Look. It was such a special moment to witness their love and emotion.

Thankfully, we were able to photograph most of their photos pre-ceremony because of their First Look – because once it was time for their ceremony, a surprise rainstorm was rolling in! Shortly into their ceremony, the rain started lightly, and then started coming down harder!!! Jacob and Margaret were great sports – including all their guests – and everyone just embraced the rain!! What a memory they made even IN THE RAIN!!

They spoiled their guests with an amazing cocktail hour – my favorite thing I saw was a French Fry Bar, with lots of toppings & freshly fried sweet potato & regular French fries! What a cool idea! The reception kicked off with lots of dancing, an outfit change, a Krispy Came Flambe Bar, specialty drinks (cocktail napkins with their pup, Moose on them!) a Photo Booth, and sweet speeches/toasts too. It was awesome to see such a fun crowd, and also to hear their family/friend talk about what incredible people Jacob & Margaret are.

They walked out a tunnel of sparklers to their getaway car! It was such a special day & we’re SO honored to have captured this day for Jacob, Margaret, and their families. We are so grateful to have been a small part of it. I can’t wait for you to see all my favorite photos below. Enjoy!!!
