Lifestyle Newborn Session | Libby | August 16th, 2017

Our last Lifestyle Newborn Session of the year ended with the most perfect family! After photographing Katherine’s Senior Session (master’s) and Maternity Session, we were SO honored to also shoot their long-awaited Newborn Session.

We walked into their [adorable] home, and Thomas was holding Libby with the most PROUD smile ever. Tiffany knew Thomas since she was in middle school, so seeing Thomas as a Daddy was really special! We got to peek around their house and it has SO much character like arched doorways, original tile floors, a beautiful fireplace, hardwoods, and custom pieces of art hanging on all the walls. WE LOVED IT.

So, seeing Libby’s nursery was no different. So much thought went into each piece in her nursery. From the fabric that Katherine and her mom picked out for all the custom bedding, to the custom pieces of art on the walls that matched the nursery. Libby’s name and monogram were on her blankets, hairbow hanger, pillow – and even her swaddle!

Katherine looked absolutely beautiful. How she was ready by 10:00am is beyond me!!! She has always been one of the most gorgeous girls we’ve photographed, in Tiffany’s opinion, but being a Mommy looks even BETTER on her!

Sweet Libby did a great job during her session – even staying awake with her eyes wide open for most of it!! She’s such a tiny, petite little girl, but has really long legs! She’s so precious.

One of the aspects we loved most was how Katherine incorporated several family heirlooms into the session – from clothing, to rings, and even saved all the special mementos from the hospital for us to photograph. We LOVED how much “meaning” went into planning this session by Katherine and Thomas.
