Lauren McCreary = Merrimon Wynne House Bridal Session!

When your best friend works at one of the most iconic Raleigh venues, you definitely choose that location for your Bridal Session! I had been looking SO forward to Lauren’s session ever since our amazing Charleston Engagement Session together last October. (If you missed seeing Micheal & Lauren’s session, click HERE!) On the way to Raleigh, Phillip and I were making bets on what style of wedding dress Lauren might have. I imagined her in a simplistic, yet elegant dress with straps. I was SO EXCITED to see that Lauren chose a dress very similar to what I thought she may do – and she looked INCREDIBLE!

Lauren’s bouquet was so earthy and had a lot of texture – I really loved the style! And THEN Lauren told me the bouquet was inspired by our other TLJ Bride, Beverly Powell Lee’s, bouquet that we photographed last year! The surprise was Lauren’s STUNNING longgggg veil with all the intricate floral details that added so much feminine texture to her style. I absolutely loved it. Lauren did an amazing job with all of her bridal style – down to the delicate little gold pearl drop earrings that she picked out last minute online!

Even with crazy gusts of wind outside (making our jobs a lot harder)  – we had the BEST TIME with Lauren, her sweet mom Beth, and her fun MOH, Sasha. Lauren is an absolute NATURAL in front of my camera.  Her mom says she’s always loved the “dramatic” – and even showed me the cutest prom photo of Lauren posing from way back when! I loved it! We took advantage of all the pretty spots at Merrimon Wynne and were thankful for all the indoor locations since it was SO windy. This venue just doesn’t disappoint, and I honestly wish that I could just live in the venue, haha!!!
