Lauren & Adam = Engagement Session!

We loved meeting Lauren & Adam back in February over coffees, and had been looking forward to photographing their Engagement Session ever since! They are so easy going, and I just knew we’d have a good time together. Sure enough, we loved hanging out with them, laughing & bantering – and it was such a fun evening! :)

They warned us going into the session that they only have like 3 posed photos together. TOTAL. So they mentioned wanting a lot of direction for our session together – but the second we started photographing, they were already posing like pros!  I’m serious!!! I couldn’t even believe it since they’d really made me feel like I’d have to ease them into it slowly! They made my job so easy & Adam teased that they can just “follow directions well” – haha!

It was forecasting to be a really HOT 85º day, and full sun. But weirdly, a fire all the way from CANADA was causing a gray haze in NC and although we dealt with that hazy sky – it also allowed for cooler temperatures which was amazing!! I was so glad because I was dreading sweating out there in full sun and heat!

I absolutely LOVED Lauren’s dusty rose colored dress & it photographed so beautifully! Adam was so dapper in his outfits (and such a good sport in long sleeves AND long pants!) I was really looking forward to photographing Lauren’s ring, it’s just SUPER unique and I loved seeing all the little details up close on the ring setting. I can’t wait for you to see it up close too!

We had the best time with Adam & Lauren exploring around the park together & catching up on life since we’d seen each other last! I have so many favorites to share with you, and can’t wait for you to see them below. ENJOY!!!
