Larkyn & Graham = The Little Chapel Wedding Day!

I had been looking forward to this day for so long! When we first met with Larkyn over zoom, she was just such a genuine, sweet person – and throughout both their Engagement Session and her stunning Bridal Session, each session was a dream to photograph & they made our jobs so easy! Larkyn is such a laid-back, precious bride – and she said on our very first zoom call that “even if it rains on my wedding day I’m going to have a great day” – and she had that mindset the whole engagement process! From sweating at our hottest session of the year during Engagements, to dealing with a reschedule & wind on her Bridal Session, and then chances of rain on her wedding day, Larkyn stayed calm, smiling, and just the sweetest!

The morning of their wedding there were just 5% chances of rain… but as we drove the 2.5 hours to the venue, I saw the rain chances climbing higher and higher to 68%! I immediately texted my mom to start praying for their weather! And thankfully, not only did the rain hold off until that evening after the wedding, but we even had pops of sunshine and a little breeze to help with the heat! How cool is that?! :)

We started off the day with photographing details, and getting them ready! Larkyn had two First Looks: one with her sweet dad, and one with Graham. I loved that they chose to exchange private vows with each other after their First Looks in the chapel & have that special memory together. Larkyn’s uncle officiated their beautiful ceremony in the chapel and he did such a great job making it personal and unique to them. After the ceremony & family photos, we got to take lots of Bride & Groom portraits! Graham & Larkyn and set aside several pockets of time throughout the day for photos & I loved that! 

The reception took place in the beautiful Solarium as the sun was setting! They enjoyed dinner & cake cutting, and then snuck back outside with us for epic photos in the rowboat on the pond! Those portraits were SO STUNNING and I was excited to take such fun photos with them! We loved spending time with them talking about their upcoming 2-week honeymoon, their new house, and even a new dog coming into the family soon!! These things are what makes the start of a marriage soooo exciting and fun to experiences all of these things together!

I’m SO EXCITED to share lots of my favorites from Graham and Larkyn’s wedding day with you below! It was such an honor to capture this beautiful wedding day for these two and their sweet families. It was also so fun to be back at The Little Chapel just over a year since my own SISTER got married here! All of my family was so jealous that Phillip and I were back at TLC and they weren’t – haha! It’s a magical place, and the entire Bradford family are just the BEST people to work with. Love them!
