Kristy & Jordan = Romantic Field Engagement Session!

It’s been such an exciting time in my family’s life the last few months! My youngest sister, Angela, just had our family’s first grandchild (click HERE to see Angela’s Maternity Session, and click HERE to see their beautiful Newborn Session with my niece Stella!) AND my middle sister, Kristy, just got engaged to her fiancé, Jordan!  It’s been such a whirlwind of the last few months planning their wedding and celebrating all these special milestones in our family! 🙂

From the start, Kristy & Jordan wanted a simple field as the location for their Engagement Session. After lots of researching and driving around our cities…we found the most pretty field that just felt so vast and peaceful for their session!

Next was finding the right outfits! Kristy wanted floral, whimsical, and unique – so my sweet former bride Beverly helped us by sending TONS of links to dresses, and helped us find this incredible pink dress! It was a DREAM for Kristy to wear such a gorgeous dress, and was perfect for this special session!!! Kristy’s next outfit is a little nod to her wedding colors! (Can’t wait for you to see the wedding design already, eeekkk!!)

Making things full circle was also our former bride Karey (@Beauty_by_Karey) who did Kristy’s gorgeous glam! I really loved the pink lipcolor she chose – it was such a pretty shade to go with the pink dress. 🙂

We ended up with a VERY cold & a little windy evening for Kristy & Jordan’s session! They were both great sports to be very patient out in the cold for HOURS with us! We took breaks in the car to warm up, and that helped! Jordan is veryyyyy sweet to put up with us Lievense girls loving photos, and he did an amazing job during the session making Kristy feel comfortable, and not rushing us. (Also a thanks to my sister Angela who came out to help us in the cold!!!!)

It was SUCH an honor to photograph this season in my sister’s life!!! Looking back through these photos (and a little video Phillip made from the session) made me cry seeing how happy Kristy is and the JOY she exudes!!! Kristy and Jordan are such a great match, and we are excited for Jordan to be part of our family.
