Rose Hill Estate Wedding | Keely & Will | March 19, 2021
I can’t think of a MORE deserving couple than Keely & Will to have a perfect wedding day. Last year was supposed to be their dream wedding day, and FIVE days away from celebrating, all of North Carolina SHUT DOWN due to the pandemic. Instead, they decided to have an intimate wedding ceremony at Keely’s grandparents home – and it was beautiful and special. (If you missed seeing their intimate wedding blog, click HERE! Also….if you missed seeing their wedding get published on Southern Bride (eeeekkkk!!!) click HERE!) Then after postponing their huge celebration to August, NC was still shut down, and they postponed AGAIN until March 2021. During all of this, Keely’s mom passed away and they were dealt with heartbreak after heartbreak.
We’d been praying for Keely and Will (and my mom, Janna, and even Janna’s mom had been praying too!) to have a special, beautiful wedding day after all they’ve been through. We woke up to rain, overcast, and 18mph winds….but by the time ceremony came – God blessed them with the SUN COMING OUT, the wind dying down, and they the most perfect outdoor ceremony, portraits, and it was simply STUNNING! 🙂
Keely and the girls had the best morning relaxing in the suite, gossiping about bachelor news, getting glammed up by the best friend team of Jade Marion Hair, and Beauty by Ashley Prins. The guys enjoyed hanging out downstairs together, eating snacks, playing games, and they even arrived EARLY (very impressed!)
Will and Keely’s design for the day was full of bold colors, unique textures, and a classic twist on a boho wedding. Janna Brown (of Chad Biggs Event Planning) was a huge help this past 2 years with implementing their designs. It was GORGEOUS and I loved photographing the velvet dresses, the incredible bouquets and ceremony arch (by Perfect Palette Floral) and all the pops of COLOR!
The ceremony was so sweet, and Keely included her mom with a memory photo, a pin inside her dress, wearing her mom’s rings, and a beautiful photo of her mom pinned onto her bouquet. I know her mom was looking down on the wedding with a big, happy smile. 🙂
The reception kicked off with a BANG with delicious food, drinks, cake with the cutest topper (Cakes by Chloe), and TONS of dancing thanks to Making Memories DJ. Their friends gave the most HILARIOUS TOASTS EVER absolutely ROASTING poor Will (Scott, you go down in history as most shocking toast ever haha!) and everyone had a blast!!! They ended the day with a sparkler tunnel and a Model T car getaway!
These two are so laid-back and up for anything, and trusted us every step of the way. Keely and Will made our jobs SO easy, and it was an absolute JOY to photograph them during their intimate wedding, Engagement Session, Bridal Session, and this incredible second wedding celebration!
I hope you’ll LOVE seeing my favorites from Will & Keely’s beautiful wedding day (take two!) below! ENJOY!!! 🙂
