Keely + Will | Intimate Wedding Day | March 21, 2020
This week has been hard on EVERYONE. We have brides even in JUNE choosing backup dates just in case the COVID-19 lasts longer than expected. That’s hard enough…. but Keely and Will had just about FIVE DAYS NOTICE to postpone their big dream wedding (planned for Rose Hill in Nashville, NC) and choose to have a small, intimate ceremony on Saturday, March 21st at her grandparents home.
What could have been a sad day – their dream wedding day not happening – Keely and Will had an absolutely gorgeous, HAPPY, sentimental wedding day!!!! Their amazing wedding planner Janna (of Chad Biggs Event Planning) helped them pull off a BEAUTIFUL, boho-styled ceremony. Although it wasn’t the exact wedding they had been planning for a year, it was SUCH a special, sweet day!
Keely bought a beautiful, long white dress for the ceremony the day before malls closed, wore feathered earrings from Brackish, painted her own nails, and her sister-in-law braided her hair. She looked STUNNING. Her bouquet was full of texture and color (by Perfect Palete Floral) – Keely loves the “boho” inspired look and wanted lots of unique pieces displayed. And WOW – Chad delivered that and MORE with all the floral pieces!!!!!
The ceremony site was so meaningful, because Keely had acutally considered originally getting married on her grandparent’s property before deciding on Rose Hill instead. Her brother had gotten married there years ago, and her parents live on the same road. It was very significant and meaningful to Keely’s family!
Saturday’s rain held off long enough for ALL the photos. God gave us a beautifully overcast day that allowed us to photograph the prettiest photos in the most MAGICAL FIELD. I was so so so so happy and on cloud 9!!! Keely and Will were the absolute cutest, and I was incredibly proud of how they handled the whole day.
I post this Sneak Peek in hopes that Keely + Will’s wedding can inspire and encourage other March/April/May couples going through heartbreaking times that having “intimate weddings” can STILL be beautiful, and very sweet and meaningful!
This hard season has also shown me all the GOOD in so many people – wedding vendors teaming together to help each other! Keely + Will’s wedding vendors have ALL agreed to postpone their “dream wedding” to August, at NO extra cost! Wow, what amazing people!
Keely and Will, we are sooooo proud of you! Phillip and I are beyond honored you let us be a special part of your day – and we can’t wait to CELEBRATE MORE in August 2020!!! I hope you’ll love all my favorite photos from your MAGICAL DAY!
