Katie + Matt Gardner = WEDDING DAY!

If we could photograph Katie + Matt’s wedding day over and over EACH Saturday, we’d be thrilled! Their day was full of so much JOY and LOVE, it filled our hearts with incredible happiness which was rewarding for US!!!!

Everything about their wedding was so timeless, and we loved the classic style they chose. The church was a perfect backdrop for the guys in tuxes, and the ladies in floor-length gowns. Their gold rings, their invitation suite, even Katie’s dress with all the dainty buttons will be beautiful for generations to come. WE LOVED IT!

We began the day photographing details at the church and reception venue. Katie’s Bridal Suite was AMAZING, and we loved photographing all her classic details in such a beautiful space.

Katie is literally THE most organized bride, and kept the day on schedule – which made MY little “planner heart” happy. She had the sweetest “First Looks” with her dad and brother, as her sisters and mom watched on with tears. Matt and Katie sent each other letters and gifts… and it was beautiful seeing their tenderness as BOTH teared up while reading their letters.

The ceremony space was UNBELIEVEABLY decorated by Ray of Brady’s Florist. He designs incredible florals, and this was no exception. We loved all the magnolia leaves paired with TONS of white flower varieties. It softened all the wooden details in the church and was simply stunning.

As Katie walked down the aisle towards her husband, Matt started crying when he saw his bride. It was SUCH a sweet moment, one that EVERY girl hopes to have. It was probably my favorite moment of the day!!!! After their ceremony, we had so much fun photographing the bridal party on the church steps, and shot some AMAZING bride & groom portraits – they made our job entirely too easy. Katie and Matt are a handsome couple, and we could honestly shoot them every single day and be content photographers!

The reception kicked off with a bang by the Horizon Band! The guests were treated to tons of food, desserts, and a HUGE wedding cake (also by Ray of Brady’s Florist & Catering!)

It was a lively evening of lots of dancing, cute kids running around, and FUN. Matt and Katie ended the night by walking through a tunnel of flower petals! It was a perfect end to a simply wonderful day. We LOVED meeting both the Shytle and Gardner families, and were SO HONORED to capture Matt and Katie’s wedding!
