Kaitlyn & Nolan = Western Farm Wedding!

Kaitlyn & Nolan | S&T Farms Wedding | October 26, 2024

We were SO looking forward to this day – and it was just the best day! We’ve been in close contact with Kaitlyn & her mom, Tracey, for over a year, planning everything from meetings at Starbucks, Engagement & Bridal Sessions, to even working together to design Kaitlyn & Nolan’s Save the Date, entire custom Invitation Suite, welcome signage, cocktail napkins, and even their programs! It was so fun to see all their hard work come together SO beautifully!!! (Mrs. Tracey, I’m serious – you need to be a wedding planner!)

Nolan has become a lineman in the year since our Engagement Session together, and he was working in Western NC on the front lines the weeks leading up to their wedding day. He was sleeping overnight in his work truck, no access to bathrooms, taking showers with water bottles, and no cell service for 2 weeks! So, it was even sweeter to have him come back & be able to enjoy time with friends & family and get married!!!

We started the day with the girls – photographing the beautiful details while the girls had fun getting glammed! They got ready at the same church where Kaitlyn’s parents got married 29 years ago this month! How special is that?!

Kaitlyn & Nolan chose to do a First Touch, and exchange gifts/letters too! It was so sweet. They were both SO excited to talk to each other!! Kaitlyn also did a First Look with her bridesmaids & one with her dad & brother. That First Look was PRECIOUS because her brother Matthew was tearing up when he saw her. It was soooo sweet!

We went to the Farm for all their pre-ceremony portraits – and I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the incredible design & florals of both the ceremony & the reception areas. Nolan & Kaitlyn’s style was “western, elegant, and rustic” and I feel like they nailed those vibes perfectly! I couldn’t get over how incredible everything looked!!

The ceremony was super special, with all their guests sitting on either pews or hay bales – and Nolan’s reaction to finally seeing Kaitlyn for the first time was just PERFECT! My favorite part of the ceremony was their unity ceremony – which they chose to do a “branding” on a cow hide with their custom brand tool!

After the ceremony was portrait time! We had the most BEAUTIFUL light for their bride & groom portraits, and I am obsessed over them!!!! Eeeek I can’t wait for ya’ll to see those.

The reception kicked off with a massive charcuterie table, tons of glass bottle cokes & moon pies – and then a delicious dinner! There was cake & cupcakes, lots of dancing, a smores station, and photos of Nolan & Kaitlyn with each table of guests! The reception design itself was just SO impressive – the colors, textures, ceiling installation, hay bales, portraits, lounge furniture – it was all just SO GOOD!

They walked through a tunnel of bubbles out to Nolan’s grandpa’s truck (that he, his dad & grandpa restored together) from his hardware store – and they drove off into the night! It was such a special way to have their getaway!

I have so many favorites to share with ya’ll below! (I’m so sad this day is over because I’ve loved all of our planning together with Kaitlyn & Mrs. Tracey!) But anyways, ya’ll ENJOY!!! Can’t wait for ya’ll to see!
