Kaitlyn Howard = Private Residence Bridal Session!

Kaitlyn’s Private Residence Bridal Session  |  May 29, 2024

It’s always fun to photograph somewhere new that we’ve never been! Kaitlyn’s family friends were so kind to allow us to use their beautiful home for her Bridal Session, and it was just stunning! 🙂

Kaitlyn doesn’t normally wear makeup or even fancy clothes (her mom always teases that she’s a “tomboy”) so when she walked out in such a stunning gown with lots of feminine detailing, I was blown away! Kaitlyn wore a reallyyyy long veil with pretty lace detailing, and complemented the look with dainty earrings, necklace, and bracelet. True to “her” style, she wore boots (that she actually owned BEFORE the dress!) and customized her wedding dress with adding a slit so her boots will show when she walks! Kaitlyn looked so gorgeous!!!!

We had a warm & sunny May day for Kaitlyn’s Bridal Session – I was so glad because it had been forecasting partly cloudy! Kaitlyn was such a good sport in the heat, and walking all over the property wherever I had ideas for pretty locations. She’s just the sweetest and did an amazing job modeling even though being in front of the camera isn’t her favorite thing!

Kaitlyn’s mom, Tracey, and her mom’s best friend, Stephanie, were so sweet to help carry all the dress layers, veil, bouquet, water, and ALL THE THINGS for the session! They were so much fun & were such a big help to make the session smooth and easy transitions between all the pretty spots! Thank you again ladies for all your help!

At the end of the session, we took photos with her family tractor to surprise her dad with those photos – and Kaitlyn’s sweet sister in law drove the tractor there for us! (Thank you so much for doing that!) Next, we photographed Nolan’s bat and glove for a little surprise for him too!

It was such a fun evening with all these amazing ladies (including the owner of the property, Mrs. Wendy!) and I have so many favorites from our time together to share today! I hope you LOVE seeing all my current favorite portraits below. ENJOY!

P.S. A big thanks to the vendors:
