Jen + Shane = Engagement Session!

It’s always a great day when our session can be at the BEACH! After rescheduling their session once due to weather, we FINALLY got to photograph Jen and Shane this week – and it couldn’t have been any cuter!

We had a beautiful day for a session – lots of sunshine but also lots of HEAT! On our drive down to the beach, our temperature gauge reached 102 degrees!!! But thankfully Shane and Jen were GREAT sports in the heat, and we lucked out with a little breeze too!

Jen and Shane did such a PERFECT job with their outfits – I loved both of Jen’s dresses with the colors, the ruffles and the length, she looked beautiful after a fun day of pampering with nails, hair, and makeup! Shane also looked handsome in his button down shirts and khakis! They made for such a cute couple together, they nailed it!!!

We started the session walking around a tree-lined neighborhood, and a sweet resident offered us to use her dock! Lots of flowers were in bloom, and the sunshine filtering through the trees was so beautiful! As the sun got softer, we headed down to the beach, and Jen changed into an “NC State red dress” as I called it (They both graduated from NC State with engineering degrees!) and it looked so pretty against the blue of the ocean!!!!

These two are so sweet and easy to be around! Jen and Shane were also very understanding about me getting over a bad cold and couldn’t talk very loud when posing them! Thank you guys!!!
