Jacquelyn + Hunter = WEDDING DAY!

This day was literally a DECADE in the making! Jacquelyn and Hunter’s wedding day marked exactly 10 years from their dating anniversary. There was so much laugher, joy, and excitement on Hunter and Jacquelyn’s day – those at the BEST kinds of weddings!

We had a beautiful fall day, at one of our all-time favorite venues – Rose Hill Plantation! Jacquelyn’s bridesmaids were SO fun to be around, I loved their silliness and how lighthearted they kept the morning. Phillip enjoyed the guys – they were watching the NC State game in the morning, talking about guns, and one groomsman even played the piano!

Hunter and Jacquelyn opted to have a First Look. I personally LOVE how much emotion First Looks allow, since it’s such a private and intimate moment. Hunter started tearing up – and Jacquelyn spun around proudly in her gorgeous wedding gown. It was really special, knowing they’d waited for that moment for so many years!!!!

After a unique and personal ceremony (each bridal party member walked in to their OWN song!) we had time to shoot ANOTHER set of Bride and Groom portraits, right at sunset. We were blessed with the most GLOWY light, and Jacquelyn and Hunter took their posing up a notch – and rocked it out!

They treated their guests to really yummy food (shout out to the mac-n-cheese chef! YUM!) and everyone had a blast on the dancefloor! A Krispy Kreme donut was cut instead of cake, and they had a whole dessert table of family favorites! The night ended with a glowstick exit.

We were so thankful to work with Dana and Whitney from C&D Events, they were AWESOME planners and helped us immensely! Jacquelyn and Hunter couldn’t have had a better day, and we were honored to be a part of it! Enjoy this peek into their wedding!
