Fall Anniversary Session | Heather & Kyle | November 19, 2020
Heather and Kyle are seriously a DREAM to photograph. We had the honor of photographing their Wedding Day last year (click HERE if you missed seeing their beautiful wedding) and their entire day was joyful!!! Even as a MASSIVE storm was rolling in – wind picking up, dark skies, and a radar that was RED … we captured some of my FAVORITE bride & groom photos of all time! PLUS at the end of the night, Kyle picked Heather up and spun her around the dance floor as she laughed and smiled in pure BLISS and it was such a “fairytale” moment!!!! 🙂
When they asked us to capture their Anniversary Session, it was a definite YES!!!! Even more special, because we never photographed an Engagement or Bridal Session for them, so it was SO MUCH FUN!!! We got to meet their precious pups Xander and Memphis (Phillip was in HEAVEN on doggy duty) and they were wearing cute leather collars and leashes!!!
Last night we had the absolute PERFECT light, beautiful fall colors, and both Kyle and Heather posed so effortlessly!!!! They did an INCREDIBLE job, and I could have photographed them for hours. 🙂
Two funny little stories that you’d never guess… The first story is that Heather went to Raleigh to get her hair/makeup done for our session – only for Heather’s appointment to be canceled when she was already in town!!! So Heather went out to the store, BOUGHT all new makeup since she obviously didn’t have any with her, and had to do her OWN MAKEUP IN THE CAR!!!! I would have freaked out if I were in her shoes… but she handled it like a pro and looked stunning!!! 🙂
The other “funny” story is that when we arrived to this session… there was a HUGE cross country meet taking place on the premises and we had to dodge dozens of high school runners, spectators, orange traffic cones, and PVC pipes making paths all over the grounds and try not to get in their way!!! It was quite a busy afternoon haha!!! 🙂
We had the best time with these two, catching up and talking all about life since COVID, and about our mutual love of Charleston! I hope you’ll LOVE seeing a ton of my favorites below!!!!
